from your war i'll be plucked from obscurity

the love can't stop luring me touched by its purity

from a brain that's disorderly the changes are calling me

a name that's now all to me, explain it accordingly

to the old sayings like 'the Oak before Ash'

and the economic juggernauts I hope they all crash

but we already know they will because this system has a catch

infinite growth is a fallacy that gives no room for the world to relax

no resistance on tap check the distance on your map

from the A to the B, it's the journey not the destination you say to me

life will leave you behind if you wait and see

if you're waiting for your heaven then awaken from your sleep

heart racing with the beat

feeling nothing for the kings but the plucking of the strings

has the power to liven the soul like nothing that money can bring

the mechanics of diet retold when you chuck in a bucket of wings

but it's harder to try and be bold when the pressures of need collapse

and emerge inside from the cold when the snow has covered the latch

and find purpose divert from the apathy lets have a fight that's evenly matched

it's a tricky business indeed as I keep it under my cap

do your bit for this do your bit for that caught up

in riff raff tit for tat and scheming on a quarter

do you miss sitting back silly chat sure enough

spliffs were packed blissful tracks were flowing like water

If the good life tastes better with your head in the sand

and you know about the curse that is embedded in Man

and the topdown destruction that envelops our plans

where need and wisdom meet is where I guess that we can

wield a power that is real no more stay on the fence

begin to voice ideas that we'd been craving to mention

in 10 Downing Street was the main intervention

sparking the fires of the working class tension.

stand with you and me and breathe in the ambiguity

and the demons that can try and ruin me, dreaming in capital lunacy

although we are captive we're soon to be free

the movement is massive assuming a speed

on cats that attack when caught with the cream

having a chat and a port with the Queen

serving up raps with a portion of spleen

only the blind saw what I mean

swimming in eyewatery seas

whilst the lielottery leaves us

to seek a lobotomyJesus

a god transplant, last dance, got the tshirt
